Steve was born in Maine in 1951. Belinda was born in Georgia in 1951. We both graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in Florida. We met at church and married in 1971.

We have two daughters, two sons-in-law, four grandchildren and a spiritual 'son'.

We homeschooled our daughters for 8 1/2 years.

We attend Grace Baptist Church in Newport, N.C. and work in the deaf department. We teach sign language to hearing people and Belinda interprets.

Steve served in the U. S. Air Force, then worked in the Civil Service's ART program until the 1994 base closings when he transferred to Cherry Point Marine Base to work at the Naval Aviation Depot.

Belinda is a housewife and a writer and likes to write historical stories.
