SELF-GUIDED CEMETERY TOUR
by popular demand

Visit this location as the reunion date approaches to learn more about driving directions to numerous Grady and Outlaw cemeteries in Duplin, Lenoir, and Wayne counties. Over 140 cemeteries are featured in Duplin County alone!
Because of the semi-exhaustive nature of this content, this page will updated in increments as the reunion date approaches.
Thank you for your patience.
Below are a list of North Carolina counties tentatively scheduled for inclusion in the Self-Guided Cemetery Tour. Limited copies of all driving directions will be available at the Reunion Roundtable event on Friday, August 26, 2005.
A Few Things to Remember.........
A cemetery does not have to be restricted to the Outlaw and Grady names to be included in the Self-Guided Tour.
We are very interested in collecting information on relevant burial sites outside of North Carolina, outside of Duplin County and those that include name variations (i.e., Outlawe or Graddy) as long as these variations are relevant to our Grady-Outlaw lineage.
We are still very interested in collecting information on the cemeteries in the local area (Duplin County and surrounding North Carolina areas). We realize that there are many small family graveyards that are not formally named or recognized, but which are very relevant to both the John Grady and James Outlaw descendants.
Please do not exclude a cemetery because of its physical appearance, distance from the local area (North Carolina), or because of complexity to reach by foot (i.e., cemeteries that are located in the middle of fields or pastures). Although such characteristics might be a deterrence to some, there are many individuals that are still interested in touring the general vicinity of the graveyard or simply interested in the relevant burial information that you can provide about the graveyard.
