Volunteering

The Cherry Tree Sampler is run exclusively by volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at the Sampler, please email us at the OWC office with "Sampler Volunteer" in the subject line, and someone will contact you shortly to arrange training and set up a work schedule (be sure to include your email address or phone number!) Consigning

Have you ever wanted to sell your creations and perhaps turn your "hobby" into a "business"? Now is the chance to take advantage of the excellent opportunity provided here at Cherry Point and market your crafts through the Cherry Tree Sampler. A $15.00 fee allows you to consign your hand crafted items for a full year. After your merchandise sells, you will receive 80% of the selling price! An unbeatable deal!

Consignment Policy

Eligibility

Consignors are limited to active duty and retired military personnel and their dependents that hold a valid Armed Forces I. D. Card, or persons that hold a valid Federal Employee I. D. Card. Proper identification must be provided at time of registration.

Registration

A fee of $15.00 entitles a consignor to consign merchandise for a full year (effective upon registration.) Registration and consignment may be made during regular shop hours.

Commissions

Consignors receive 80% of the selling price of the items sold. The shop receives the remaining 20%. All profits, after operating expenses, are used for scholarships and assistance to local schools and non-profit organizations.
