Changing Dial-up Numbers

This will be a quick guide on how to add/remove/change any numbers to your dial-up directory for dial-up customers. First, you want to click on start, assuming you have windows xp, it will look like:

Notice, the mouse is currently hovering over CCI which is one of the menu's that are openable once you click on start. Mouse over the Connect To field, and it will open up what you see in the above image. Select the dial-up with the check above it, this will bring up another window, shown below:

On this window, you can choose to change the number in the dial box that is open towards the bottom, if you change it here, it may or may not be permanent, and windows might ask you if you wish to make it so, if it does, select yes.

To be sure you change it, select the properties button on the bottom, it will open up another window:

This window will also allow you to change the number in the white phone number box. However, if you have alternate numbers, you can click on the alternate number button, and you will see a screen like:

This is where you can add or remove numbers for your dial-up connection to call. At this time, we only use 634-4181, effective 2/6/07.
